Offsheet Classes Guides for tutors
Managing tuition classes in Sri Lanka: one screen for students, fees and syllabus
Updated 12 October 2026 · 5 min read
Private tutoring in Sri Lanka has its own shape: home classes alongside institute classes, O/L and A/L students next to Cambridge and Edexcel ones, fees by bank transfer or cash, and parents who message on WhatsApp. Offsheet Classes is built around that.
Who it's for
Tutors teaching roughly ten to fifty students on their own, often across a few subjects or institutes. Too many to keep in a notebook, too few to need academy software with staff accounts and a monthly bill.
What you see on one screen
- This week's classes: who's coming, when, and what you planned to cover.
- Who has paid: fees due for the classes actually taught, what's been paid, and what's still owed.
- What you earned: collected and outstanding for the month.
- Each student's syllabus: topics covered and what's left before the exam.
- A statement for parents: the dates, topics and amount due, ready to send.
Local and international syllabuses side by side
Each student can follow their own syllabus and exam board, so a Grade 10 O/L Maths student, an A/L Physics student and a Cambridge IGCSE student can sit in the same week's schedule, each with their own topic list.
Made for a phone between classes
Mark a payment while you're still at the door. It saves to your account as you go, so it's there on your laptop at home, and it keeps working when the signal drops on the bus.
Bring the list you already have
If your students are in Google Sheets, Excel or a Google Doc, import the list in one go instead of retyping it. If you'd rather not do it yourself, ask for a made-for-you setup and we'll move your existing spreadsheets in.
Paid once, by bank transfer
No subscription and no card. You pay once by bank transfer and it's yours for good. You can try it first with sample students, and a tutor's invite link gives you a free month with your own classes. The current price is on the pricing section.
Your students' details stay yours
Children's names, parents' numbers and fees are kept in your own account, apart from every other tutor's. We don't look at them, never share or sell them, and you can download everything or ask us to delete it at any time. Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act applies. More in the app's privacy notice.
Try it with sample students
